560 Flinders Street is a 29 level building consisting of a single level basement, 132 hotel apartments and 2 retail tenancies. The site is confined to 290m2 within the Melbourne CBD which required detailed and ongoing management of site logistics. The facade comprises a series of angled picture windows which alternate in direction per floor, creating a kaleidoscope reflection of the surrounding city. The structure received a 5 Green Star energy rating. Its foundation is based on heritage and adaptive reused materials
