Moonee Valley milestone: Trackside and Stonepine reach the finish line

Icon has successfully completed the Trackside House and Stonepine House development at Moonee Valley Park, the transformative new precinct located on the iconic Moonee Valley Racecourse site — delivering 330 premium residences and a vibrant new residential stage for Hamton and Hostplus. The project reflects the teamwork, innovation and dedication that define Icon’s approach.
A major milestone has been reached at Melbourne’s iconic Moonee Valley Racecourse, with the completion of Trackside House and Stonepine House – two architecturally designed residential towers that now form part of a dynamic new precinct delivered for Hamton and Hostplus.

Delivered under a Design & Construct contract, the $190 million project brings 330 premium residences across two buildings, supported by a three-level shared basement, landscaped communal gardens, a rooftop infinity pool, wellness studio, 14 commercial tenancies and new public realm spaces that strengthen the connection between the precinct and its surrounding community.
Behind the scenes, the project exemplified Icon’s disciplined and people-driven approach. Early planning, smart sequencing and commercial rigour underpinned delivery, while careful logistics kept the build running smoothly despite a single site access point and two protected stone pine trees that defined the footprint.
Each apartment reflected the project’s attention to detail, with hundreds of purchaser upgrades managed and installed. Strategic global procurement and advanced digital tools — including BIM coordination and Visibuild quality tracking — helped maintain efficiency and uphold quality across every stage of the build.
